Mordecai had saved the king with not reward request for himself.
The king desired to honor Mordecai
Haman’s Pride
Haman assumed there was nobody the King would want to honor other then himself.
He gave the request of how he wanted the be honored
The king’s royal clothes, the king’s horse, the king’s crown and the king’s most trusted man to led the parade
The result was Haman had to honor his hated enemy in a special way
The Result of Pride
Haman’s family realized this was going to be his downfall

Pride is a false view of yourself
