They meet on the first day of the week.<\/p>\n<p>Paul preached and preached and preached. It went on past midnight until finally a young man named Eutychus fell asleep in the rafters and fell to his death.<\/p>\n<p>The man lived and the people were comforted.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Even today we are to take the Lord\u2019s Day and honor it for the Lord\u2019s sake.<\/p>\n<p>The Fourth Commandment \u2013 Exodus 20:8-11<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Lord changed the last day of the week to the first day, not the church<\/p>\n<p>John 20:19-23, Acts 20:7,<\/p>\n<p>I Corinthians 16:1-2, Revelation 1:10<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>How Should We Approach the Lord\u2019s Day?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It should be a Day of Reverence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sabbath \u2013 day of intermission, a period of change<\/p>\n<p>Keep \u2013 \u201chedge about\u201d, protect, guard<\/p>\n<p>Holy \u2013 separated unto God<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>It should be a Day of Rest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Exodus 31:17 \u2013 Refreshed<\/p>\n<p>Think ahead and plan<\/p>\n<p>The Sabbath begin the night before<\/p>\n<p>Too many people use the Lord\u2019s Day as a mental \u201crubbish bin\u201d day<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>It shall be a Day of Remembrance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Commandment we are most likely to forget<\/p>\n<p>Redemption \u2013 Deuteronomy 5:12-15<\/p>\n<p>Christian people make it a faith of convince instead of commitment<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is a Day of Rejoicing\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The First Day of the Week Acts 20:6-12 As the church age progressed, it clearly split away from the Judaism it preceded.
