This couple lived in one of the most wicked cities in the Roman Empire<\/p>\n<p>A neglected couple \u2013 \u201cNot all will be famous \u2013 all may make a difference!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>References of Aquila and Priscilla<\/p>\n<p>Romans 16:3; I Corinthians 16:19; II Timothy 4:19<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Body<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They served the Lord together \u2013 they are always listed together<\/p>\n<p>They served where they were (vs. 3) \u2013use your \u201coccupation\u201d when looking for divine appointments<\/p>\n<p>They supported God\u2019s man in his difficulty (vs. 12, 18) \u2013 \u201cwith him\u201d (strong families = strong churches)<\/p>\n<p>They were in the synagogue to hear the Word of God \u2013vs. 26 (vs. 4, 7 \u2013they had learned the importance of the Scriptures)<\/p>\n<p>They took others and taught them what they had been taught \u2013 vs. 24-28 (children, younger couples)<\/p>\n<p>They helped the preacher (Romans 16:3, 4)<\/p>\n<p>They involved their whole \u201chouse\u201d in the work of the local church (Romans 16:5; I Corinthians 16:19)<\/p>\n<p>They tried to encourage others (I Corinthians 16:19 \u2013 \u201csalute you much in the Lord\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>They finished right \u2013 II Timothy 4:19 (Contrast with Ananias and Sapphira)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aquila and Priscilla Acts 18:1-3 Introduction *Strong churches are made of strong families.
