Five Types of Fools – Scorning Fool
\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Proverbs 1:7<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Hebrew language there is 5 different words that are translated into our English word fool.<\/p>\n

This Simple Fool<\/p>\n

The Silly Fool<\/p>\n

The Sensual Fool<\/p>\n

The Scorning Fool<\/p>\n

The Steadfast Fool<\/p>\n

The wise counselor must know how to identify these people and how to deal with them.<\/em><\/p>\n

Distinguishing these fools will help let us know when to counsel and the type of counseling they should receive<\/p>\n

A fool is someone who does not follow the wisdom of God.<\/p>\n

There are different degrees of fools<\/p>\n

They go through steps of progression<\/p>\n

You need to stop someone before they get too far<\/p>\n

Scorning Fool<\/strong><\/p>\n

Loots (Heb) \u2013 Make mouths at, someone that is mouthy<\/p>\n

Easy to be able to detect.<\/p>\n

He uses facial expressions to communicate distain and contempt for almost all authority.<\/p>\n

He has not only rejected the truth, but has also has embraced that which is an abomination to God, and that is to be a scorner. Proverbs 1:22<\/p>\n

It is not only his behaviour, it is also his attitude.<\/p>\n

He also often mocks and mimics God\u2019s people in distain, and ridicules God\u2019s people for their righteous standards and conduct.<\/p>\n

The scorner has no capacity to respond to wisdom. Proverbs 14:6<\/p>\n

The reason why he does not understand wisdom is because he rejects instruction, beginning at his parents. Proverbs 13:1<\/p>\n

All the fools start with rejection of instruction at home.<\/p>\n

It stems from not having the correct disciple in the home.<\/p>\n

Anyone who tries to discipline the scorner who is unauthorized will pay for it. Proverbs 9:7-8<\/p>\n

That is some one who is not in direct authority of the individual.<\/p>\n

When dealing with people, it will help to understand why they react.<\/p>\n

Proverbs 15:12<\/p>\n

He will not seek instruction nor accept instruction<\/p>\n

It is vital that the scorner receives the proper disciple and be separated from those that he hangs around (the scorning crowd) Proverbs 19:25<\/p>\n

The other fools are attracted to the scorner.<\/p>\n

You might not be able to help the scorner, but help the other fools by example of discipline.<\/p>\n

Proverbs 21:11<\/p>\n

Practical Application<\/em><\/p>\n

When you deal with young people, if you can see what happens with the fools, it will help you deal with the young people.<\/p>\n

Proverbs 22:10<\/p>\n

There are times you can help people and there are times that you can not help people.<\/p>\n
