{"id":427,"date":"2016-06-01T19:06:19","date_gmt":"2016-06-01T19:06:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brnsermons.com\/scottybackhaus\/?post_type=ctc_sermon&#038;p=427"},"modified":"2017-06-13T19:10:00","modified_gmt":"2017-06-13T19:10:00","slug":"01-simple-fool","status":"publish","type":"ctc_sermon","link":"https:\/\/brnsermons.com\/scottybackhaus\/sermons\/01-simple-fool\/","title":{"rendered":"01 Simple Fool"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>Five Types of Fools &#8211; Simple Fool<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Proverbs 1:7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the Hebrew language there is 5 different words that are translated into our English word fool.<\/p>\n<p>This Simple Fool<\/p>\n<p>The Silly Fool<\/p>\n<p>The Sensual Fool<\/p>\n<p>The Scorning Fool<\/p>\n<p>The Steadfast Fool<\/p>\n<p><em>The wise counselor must know how to identify these people and how to deal with them.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Distinguishing these fools will help let us know when to counsel and the type of counseling they should receive<\/p>\n<p>A fool is someone who does not follow the wisdom of God.<\/p>\n<p>There are different degrees of fools<\/p>\n<p>They go through steps of progression<\/p>\n<p>You need to stop someone before they get too far<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Simple Fool<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>pethEE \u2013 implies vulnerability, means to open up<\/p>\n<p>One who opens his mind to any passing thought, any type of enticements or deceptions<\/p>\n<p>Identified in the Scriptures as \u201cSimple\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>He has not developed discernment<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He is dangerously immature and extremely gullible<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Without instruction and consistent discipline, the simple fool will quickly progress to greater foolishness.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Consistent discipline is necessary, it forms character.<\/p>\n<p><em>Especially vulnerable to seductive women and lacks the wisdom for irreversible consequences for surrendering to temptation<\/em>: 7:7-27<\/p>\n<p><em>Views life as simple and fails to see that consequences that come<\/em>. 22:3<\/p>\n<p><em>The book of Proverbs shows us the simple fool Proverbs 1:1-4 <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The phrase subtilty is talking about the simple fool.<\/p>\n<p><em>Priceless Truths to be Able to Teach Children<\/em><\/p>\n<p>To be able to know wisdom \u2013 The Fear of God<\/p>\n<p>Instruction \u2013 Teaching the Unknown<\/p>\n<p>To perceive the Words of Understanding \u2013 To recognize Evil<\/p>\n<p>To receive Instruction of Wisdom \u2013 To take that Which is Good<\/p>\n<p>Justice, Judgment, Equality \u2013 That which will distribute Justice<\/p>\n<p>To give Subtilty to the Simple \u2013 Gives instruction to the Simple<\/p>\n<p><em>Scorning Fools will seek out Simple fools and become their heroes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It is important to bring swift correction to the scorning and receive correction, and it will get the Simple Fool\u2019s attention Proverbs 19:25<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Five Types of Fools &#8211; Simple Fool Proverbs 1:7 In the Hebrew language there is 5 different words that are translated into our English word fool.
