At the end of Acts 14, they fulfilled the work. The work of God must be shown between these tow chapters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>They Preach the Gospel vs. 21<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The very first thing missionaries do is give the gospel to the people<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>They Taught Many vs. 21<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They begin to disciple the people<\/p>\n<p>Discipleship is developing the habit of obedience to Christ<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>They Confirmed the Souls vs. 22<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This carries the idea of ensuring the disciples were obedient<\/p>\n<p>Accountability<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>They Ordained Elders vs. 23<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They set up pastors to oversee the church<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>They Commended Them to the Lord vs. 23<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They removed their hands from the church and depended upon God to take care of the people.<\/p>\n<p>A biblical illustration is Moses\u2019 mother taken her hands off the basket and trusting the Lord will bring His will across<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Missionaries are basically itinerate Church planters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Work of God is Our Mission Acts 14:21-28 There is a lot of confusion of what are missions, what are missionaries and what do missionaries do. &nbsp; In Acts 13 God sent them to do a work.
