It All Begins with God<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Genesis 1:1<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It all begins with God.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Activity is not a fit substitute for spirituality.<\/p>\n

The Bible is a book about God revealing Himself to us.<\/p>\n

When someone has a problem with their behaviour, the correct response is to take them from the beginning and renew their vision from God.<\/p>\n

God is always previous<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before our need is recognized the supply is already provided.<\/p>\n

Job 2:3<\/p>\n

There is a difference between intelligence and education.<\/p>\n

Integrity means he is an honest man, not a manipulator.<\/p>\n

Fear of God comes before integrity.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t fear God if we don\u2019t have the right vision of God.<\/p>\n

If we don\u2019t fear sin, we don\u2019t have the right vision of God.<\/p>\n

Since everything begins with God it affects every area of our life.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It affects our prayer life.<\/p>\n

Our Witnessing<\/p>\n

Our Preaching.<\/p>\n

Our Talking with people<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It does not say in the beginning God began, but said God created.<\/strong><\/p>\n

John 1:1-2<\/p>\n

The Lord Jesus Christ did not begin in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

Revelation 1:11<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Genesis 1:1 is one of the most important verses because it refutes false doctrines<\/strong><\/p>\n

It refutes atheism, because the universe was created by God.<\/p>\n

It refutes pantheism (the belief that God is everything and everything is God), for God is transcendent (apart from and independent of the material universe) to that which He created.<\/p>\n

It refutes polytheism, for one God created all things.<\/p>\n

It refutes materialism, for matter had a beginning.<\/p>\n

It refutes dualism, because God was alone when He created.<\/p>\n

It refutes humanism, because God, not man, is the ultimate reality.<\/p>\n

It refutes evolutionism, because God created all things.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The five categories of science are in Genesis 1:1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Time \u2013 \u201cIn the beginning\u201d<\/p>\n

Force \u2013 \u201cGod\u201d<\/p>\n

Motion \u2013 \u201ccreated\u201d<\/p>\n

Space \u2013 \u201cheaven\u201d<\/p>\n
