They see a little victory from the Lord, and they stop moving forward in their personal life. They become satisfied with the victories God gave them, and allow sin in their life or allow it to continue. For 20 years, Samson judged Israel, but he never defeated the Philistine and kicked them out of the country. For twenty years, he remained stagnate in his life, not seeing any more victories, floating on past wins, and indulging in sin, believing that he was still fine with God.<\/p>\n<p>For twenty years, his judgeship was mostly quiet. One brake in the quietness was when Samson visited a harlot in Gaza. Samson broke through the gates of the city, post, bar and all and carried them 37 miles away to Hebron.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Samson\u2019s Seven Locks<\/strong> vs. 4-20<\/p>\n<p>What finally cause up with him was his sin. He fell in love with another woman named Delilah. She was paid by the Philistines to find out the secret of his strength. She begged, cried and manipulated to get him to tell her the secret. When he finally broke down, she cut his hair and he was captured by the Philistines.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Samson\u2019s Sport Backfired<\/strong> vs. 21-31<\/p>\n<p>The Philistines plucked his eyes out and put him in chains to grind grain.
