We don\u2019t walk our own way. We cannot have our way and God\u2019s way.<\/p>\n<p>Jericho had two walls. The outside wall was a mud-brick wall 21 feet high and 6 feet thick.<\/p>\n<p>Jericho encompassed about 9 acres within the walls, and would be a circumference of \u00bd mile. At an average walking speed, it would be about 10 minutes for each lap.<\/p>\n<p>Inside there were about 600 normal inhabitants with a thousand people total considering the refuges from the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Discipline of Faith<\/strong> vs. 9-19<\/p>\n<p>They were told to walk around Jericho and not talk. They had to remain completely quiet until they were told. They looked ridiculous to the inhabitants of Jericho.<\/p>\n<p>Then the children of Israel would walk back to their camp which was 2 to 6 miles away.<\/p>\n<p>The 7<sup>th<\/sup> day it took about 3 \u00bd hours to go completely around the city walls the seven times.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Patience of Faith<\/strong> vs. 20-21<\/p>\n<p>If we want God to prove Himself, we must be patient and wait on Him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Walls of Jericho Judges 6 The Obedience of Faith vs. 1-8 Faith obeys completely.
