Paul had a desire to go personally to Rome, but the door had never been opened to go.
Paul wrote this epistle during his 3-month return trip in Corinth.
A lady by the name of Phoebe, from near by Cenchrea was planning a visit to Rome.
He planned on writing a letter on commendation for her to the Christian at Rome, but the Holy Spirit intervened and wrote this masterpiece of theology.

People who ignore these evidences slip into further darkness.
People who accept these evidences, God will give more light
