Full of Indignation
Esther 5
Esther received her answer to prayer as she approached the king. The king lowered the golden sceptre and allowed Esther to give her request.
She organized a banquet and only the king and Haman were invited. The king asked what she desired and she replied that on the next night she would have another banquet and give her request then.
Haman was excited that he was so “honored” He rushed home to tell his wife. However, on the way home, he saw Mordecai and all his joy departed. He was so bitter with Mordecai he couldn’t enjoy the blessing he had in his life.
Finally his wife suggested him to build gallows to finally hang Mordecai and get rid of his problem
We see that God is working in the background, even beyond Haman’s plotting and Esther’s banquets.
