Five Types of Fools – Sensual Fool

In the Hebrew language there is 5 different words that are translated into our English word fool.
This Simple Fool
The Silly Fool
The Sensual Fool
The Scorning Fool
The Steadfast Fool
The wise counselor must know how to identify these people and how to deal with them.
Distinguishing these fools will help let us know when to counsel and the type of counseling they should receive
A fool is someone who does not follow the wisdom of God.
There are different degrees of fools
They go through steps of progression
You need to stop someone before they get too far
Sensual Fool
kess-ELL (Heb) – Is one who fails to receive the correction of either parental or public authority or one who just reacts to it.
The word literally means to be fat, sluggish, dull, obstinate
It denotes one who is bent in making wrong choices.
He does not have mental deficiency but he rejects the wisdom of God and is set in what brings him immediate pleasure.
His god is his belly and he glories in what he should be ashamed of.
Proverbs 10:23;13:19-20
He appears to be very prosperous and thus becomes the object for the simple and silly fool to follow him. Prov 1:32
It says them, not him, meaning all those that follow him.
Proverbs 23:9
The answer is not counsel but severe punishment Proverbs 26:3; 19:29
A sensual fool, who refuses to listen, has to take the next step and that’s more severe punishment.
The Sensual fool is unreasonable

Talking back to authority should get you in trouble and be punished.
