In the Hebrew language there is 5 different words that are translated into our English word fool.
This Simple Fool
The Silly Fool
The Sensual Fool
The Scorning Fool
The Steadfast Fool
The wise counselor must know how to identify these people and how to deal with them.
Distinguishing these fools will help let us know when to counsel and the type of counseling they should receive
A fool is someone who does not follow the wisdom of God.
There are different degrees of fools
They go through steps of progression
You need to stop someone before they get too far
Simple Fool
pethEE – implies vulnerability, means to open up
One who opens his mind to any passing thought, any type of enticements or deceptions
Identified in the Scriptures as “Simple”
He has not developed discernment
He is dangerously immature and extremely gullible
Without instruction and consistent discipline, the simple fool will quickly progress to greater foolishness.
Consistent discipline is necessary, it forms character.
Especially vulnerable to seductive women and lacks the wisdom for irreversible consequences for surrendering to temptation: 7:7-27
Views life as simple and fails to see that consequences that come. 22:3

To give Subtilty to the Simple – Gives instruction to the Simple
Scorning Fools will seek out Simple fools and become their heroes.
It is important to bring swift correction to the scorning and receive correction, and it will get the Simple Fool’s attention Proverbs 19:25
