The Context
Moses has just spent 40 days and 40 nights talking with God just on the Tabernacle.
God had laid our specific plans for how Tabernacle was to be built, put together, materials, measurements.
For the next 9 months Israel will build
The Command
Even though they are working for the Lord, God demands for them to spend time with Him on the Sabbath
We are never to get so busy we neglect our time with God
