Os Guinness wrote that while “the Christian faith contributed decisively to the rise of the modern world…it has been undermined decisively by the modern world it helped to create. The Christian faith has become its own gravedigger.” How sad, but true! We have filled our hearts will so many desires that we are missing the fulfilment of what should be our greatest desire – pleasing God with all of our life.
